Poorest Service at Nquthu Post Office
On 20th of November 2024 i had to make a request from work in Glencoe so that i rush to Nquthu Post Office because there was an important document i had to pick up and i arrived at around 14H20 but the male office worker was very rude towards me. When i greeted him i could even hear him replying he was focusing on the paper he was busy with then I waited for him to finish so that he can focus on me, then later he asked what do I want!!!! Then I asked him if he can please open the post box 1429 for me, there are documents I need. He asked me who’s box is it for I told him my name then he asked why don’t I have a key, then I told him that I lost the key 8 years ago but I was told that the post office cannot replace the key for me because they are experiencing some technical difficulties, but they usually take the master key and open the box for us to access our document. Remember this has been taking place for 8 years. But today he said I must buy the key they no longer open the post box now, I asked him how much is the key he said R259, then I pleaded with him to please open for me for the last time since I had no knowledge that the keys are now available I did not have money to buy the key at that time but in January during the renewal I will buy the key. But he refused to help me. I had to go back to Glencoe about 57 km without getting assistance, so now I will loose the deal because I couldn’t get the important document I had to travel for 57 km for and I have to try and make time to go back to make this arrangements. I wish he could have helped me this once and tell me next time he won’t be able to do so, because I has no idea things have changed. He was not wearing a name tag and refused to give me his name.
I am so disappointed and frustrated I will not be able to meet the deadline due to the poor service rendered to me by Nquthu Post Office male staff member at 14H 20 on 20/11/2024.
A very unhappy and disappointed customer.
