Pathetic South Africa Post Office service
I have ordered a parcel overseas on 30 July, it was completed and finished on the 22nd of August and shipped the same day. I received the following tracking number from the overseas client: CNDFNXMA55H062343 via 17track. It apparently arrived in South Africa on the 29th of August. I was under the impression that the parcel will be delivered via a trustworthy and reliable courier service, as I gave them my home address (don't even have a postal box anymore) When following up, I found out the parcel was sent to JHB Int. SA Post Office Hub. Every day I have been following up, several emails and phone calls made (which either the phone rings till it dies or it will never be answered), however when I finally spoke to someone there, they were rude and arrogant, giving several other tracking numbers and phone numbers (***/ ***) to follow-up as the parcel is still @ customs. International tracking number CNDFNXMA55H062343 via 17track. First tracking number given: RS***DE by 17track Then second national tracking number given by rude service consultant at SAPO: RI***ZA I am completely frustrated as this was a birthday present for someone this coming Saturday 21 September. And still the parcel is not near being delivered or sent out. Is it ******? Have they lost it? What am I supposed to do now? Will I be refunded? Will they retrieve the ******/lost item? This is unacceptable and ridiculous as I now have to make other arrangements to accommodate this parcel which was supposed to be a surprise Frustrated South African
