Pathetic customer service
On Saturday the 11th of September 2021, I went to REDHILL POST OFFICE IN DURBAN to renew one of my late husbands car. I had all the documents that I was told to have which included a letter from ABSA TRUST, a letter of authority, death certificate, my ID and a proof of residence. I stood in the line from 11;00am and in the interim I went to the lady that was giving off the forms to confirm if I had the correct documents, she rep**** by saying she doesn't know but thinks it is the right documents, I then pleaded to go inside to ask the tellers, she said no "I cant" so I stood in the line. at 12H45 one of the workers came to me and asked what I'm here for, I then told him that I am here to renew my late husbands car, ownership hasn't been changed as yet due to the delays from ABSA Trust however I have documents from ABSA Trust and a letter of authority that allows me to renew the the license disk. This arrogant man responded "no, no that is *****, how can you renew a dead man's car, it theft". I tried explaining that I am the wife and have all documents supporting me to renew. He then chased me out of the que and said they don't do ***** in their branch. I was very devastated and hamulated at the same time. I have never ever received such customer service in my life, I lost my husband and that it self is stressing and hurting me, Imp attending counseling weekly and here I am trying to sort out a few things that my husband left for me and the kids, I then get this pathetic service. The service I received was just unprofessional and I will share my experience on social media too.
