Parys Free State Post Office poor service

The situation in Parys Free State Post Office is an utter shame.

I recently went to collect a car part I ordered from abroad on August 24,2021 and It was scheduled to arrive on or before September 28th.

Because I was eager to receive my parcel I went to inquire about it on Monday Sep 27th and Tuesday Sep 28th. And on both occasions it was not found and I was asked if I received a message that it arrived or not and my answer was that I haven't received the message yet.

So I gave it a few days to arrive and went again same week on Friday October 1st.

And finally it was there but to my surprise the parcel is noted on the box that it has since arrived at the Post Office on Thursday Sep 16th. It arrived 24 days after I ordered it and I received it 39 days later. While I went to inquire about it 35 and 36 days later and I was told that it was not there, while it arrived 15days back when I finally got it.

Therefore I am deeply not happy at all with how Parys Post Office operate.

It is a shame, when you go to that place and get to be helped because there will be a queue you have to be before you get attended to and what is more frustrating is the fact that there are 6 Booths for workers but only one worker and occasionally it is only 2 people behind the desks and many many people waiting to get help. Whether it is how SA Post Office is intended to offer assistance to the community at large or not I don't know but it is an utter shame at what they offer currently.

SA Post Office is pretty shy to hire more man power and makes the community to suffer. Also when you get to that place it is like entering a haunted building because the way you will find people who has been there long and wondering if they will get help or not.

Really something drastically has to happen in regard to IMPROVING the level of a descent service into that place.

I am very very disappointed at Parys Post Office.
