Parcel Given to someone else without proof of ID

I went to go pick up a item i purchased off the internet #blackfriday at Bryanston Post office and was told they gave my order to someone else. How is this even possible when you require to pick up parcels with your ID book? VERY DISAPPOINTED. all that money lost.
