Parcel from USA

Iam expecting a parcel from USA it was send on the 17th of July via airmail its not moving from 20th of July ,l have been to Norwood post office several times they said they can't locate my parcel.When l send a parcel to USA within 10 working days it will be delivered .l will rather use courier in future than using South african post office their service is shocking?
