Package stuck in customs

My parcels have been stuck in customs at JHB since 16 Aug. Every time I phone the Post Office call centre I have to wait 25-30min for the call to be answered. When someone eventually answers I am told there is a backlog and to "wait another week" Just that! Nothing else. The packages are not moving and I am getting no help
