Package still not delivered lying at JIMC

I ordered goods from the USA in March. I only received a local tracking number in June. II***ZA Since then the package has been lying with JIMC. I don't understand how parcels have to lie with them for a month. I have already lost other parcels which were at my local post office but the system wasn't updated so the parcels were returned to sender. Why cant this service be improved as this is a continuing problem. Another example of poor management.
