Package Already Sent Back

So i got a card in my mail box dated the 10th of December this past week. Seeing that i am still getting bills etc from last September I thought nothing of this, I went to the post office with all the necessary documents to collect the parcel (we have only been waiting since August for it to arrive).<br> <br> Handed my card to the gentleman behind the counter on returning he informed me that the parcel had already been sent back to the sender as it had not been collected in 30 days.<br> <br> On enquiring as to why there is such a delay on mail, the person helping me said he does not know, he is under the impression that he did his part of the job and that is all that matters. He also made the comment that I am not the only person to have had this problem.<br> <br> Why if there is still a backlog on mail are packages being sent back to senders. There seems to be a major disconnect in communication as well with departments not knowing what is going on. Totally unacceptable and useless service.<br> <br>
