NOT EVEN A COURTESY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF EMAIL

I posted a complaint about an undelivered parcel from September 2014 from the UK. From the response I got, my complaint was not read, as I had clearly stated that there was NO tracking number, as the parcel was sent by airmail, which I have now been asked to supply. I sent through an email to customer services as requested by my response on Hello Peter on the 22 February, surprise, surprise, no reply, not even an acknowledgement of receipt! I can appreciate that there is a backlog, but I have been more than patient, as this parcel was posted more than 6 months ago.
The CPA stipulates consumers are entitled to a timely execution and completion of services and a reasonable imbur*****t if any service is not executed as agreed upon. I want my +/- R 2000.00 reimbur*****t, plus interest!
We also have the right to receive courteous and respectful treatment, which I am afraid is not happening to the customers of the SA Post Office. Emails and telephones unanswered are the norm it seems, which is infringing on our rights as consumers. I will definitely not be using the Post Office again until they get their act together. Shame on you Post Office!

If the items is outside it's target delivery time frame please contact the sender and request that they log an enquiry with their local Postal Authority to follow up on the whereabouts' your items.
