Northmead Sqaure Post Office Dont Care

I went to Post Office in Northmead Square this morning while on the line i noticed a gentleman being given a service that was not right.

As he was on his way out i askes him why he was not assisted he said he was told they cant assist with Temporary ID that has expired. I then asked the lady who didn't have her nametag why. She then told me the ID is expired and was told by SASSA that they must not give money to expired Temp IDs. I asked if she has something on writing so we can satisfy the poor man who look so sad by this outcome obviously when you are not working and expecting MONEY that had had a lot of obstacles to get then you find CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS who just let you go with helping and understanding your problems.

I think something people forget is that a better treatment makes things BETTER even if it can'ttake AWAY POVERTY. So when people are arrogant and makes one feel that you come here looking for R350 you're NOTHING. Then i was assisted and told no MONEY that was not a problem to me at all. I asked to speak tp a manager to atleast hear this young person who obviously looked very HUNGRY. I was given the name of the AREA manager in Benoni i called her then she said they were some ***** that makes them not to help but she was going to call me after 5min.

I stood there with this poor man and no call coming back. It's been a nightmare to be POOR in this country more with this situation of CORONA. So seeing people who don't CARE because they have jobs is PAINFUL. I see how SAA has gone down now in a painful way so many PEOPLE affected. So if we dont have people who learn from examples of others we are definitely not going anywhere.

Then in the same post OFFICE another lady comes with same situation expired Temp ID and she says last month she used it but they say NO. I don't know if now it was because i was watching with thi poor man next to me.
