Non delivery of parcel to UK sent by EMS

I posted a parcel on 14/10/2015 to the UK from the Parkview Post Office with EMS courier service. Online Track and Trace says it arrived at the export office in Johannesburg on 16/10/2015 and left on the same day. No more reports after that! Where is my parcel sitting?? No one answers the phone. I know there was a strike but we need feedback! Is the strike still on, and even if it is, it wasn't on when I sent the parcel so it should have left the country ages ago. Has my parcel been ******?? It is nearly three weeks since I sent it and it cost over a thousand rand to send. Unfortunately I didn't insure it as I was assured by an independent person that it was the best and safest way to send stuff, and it's a lot cheaper than DHL - about a third of the price. Can anyone tell me what to do as no one answers the phone - is NO ONE accountable anymore??? My tracking number is EE***ZA. Very convenient that the post office does not respond to this forum, but perhaps someone else knows something that could help?
