Nobody Home at SA Post Office

Does anybody know what is going on at the Post Office? Why is the service so bad? How is it humanly possible that it takes longer for a parcel to be moved from Johannesburg International Hub via Customs to Cape Mail, than it does to get here from Europe, Malaysia or the Middle East? I feel sorry for the grant recipients when they get handed to the Post Office for their monthly payments. What a complete disgrace. The postmaster should be sacked.
