no response

I have been waiting for over a month to receive a parcel purchased in America. I received an email from DHL EXPRESS to say that the parcel has arrived and will be forwarded. DHL claim that the parcel is with the post office. All the numbers given to me just ring and ring. I have about 10 number options, they all ring and ring. Sometimes the number is answered, the person listens and put the phone down. The number o11 ***, has people answering and putting down the phone. I was told to email the manager, Heleen Huyser, I have sent her 5 emails, no response. If you ask yo be transfered to her desk, the phone gets put down. I then tried the post office customer service line , required to hold for over an hour? Do I need to accept that the parcel will never be delivered to me. How can the staff at the post office just leave the phone to ring, answer and out down , not reply to emails?
