NEVER use Post Office tracking, use DHL

It has been six months and my parcel has still not arrived,

I've ordered a parcel from china and it took 4 days to get into SA, then the waiting started.

On the post office web site it said that the parcel is at the JIMC A, after waiting 3months with no changes, I decided to phone the call centre's number. Oh yes, they don't pick up. After waiting 3 hours on hold. Someone finally picked up and told me what i already knew. That the parcel is at JIMC A. They couldn't give me an estimation or any means to escalate it. They eventually just put the phone down on my ears, they were extremely rude.

I emailed the customer support centre with my query to find out what is going on, to find out where my parcel is. After a month I received a response from ********** who gave me a local tracking number which I can use in conjunction with the international tracking number.

After 5 months at the JIMC A, I decided to actually go to the frikken international mail centre in Johannesburg as I'm just in Pretoria. After spending the whole day at the security office outside the mail centre waiting for them to find the parcel, i spoke to a one of the managers, Bonani ********** 028, which wasn't any help either. She gave me her direct number which i found out later was just the normal support line. She blatantly **** to me.

Directly after leaving the office the status of my parcel changed from JIMC A to No tracking information available.

This morning i just checked their site again for any further information regarding my parcel, and guess what. It moved from no tracking information available to undelivered. After i did this i also checked the local tracking number which was previously mailed to me. And it stated that my parcel was at Sovenga post office. And i'm in Pretoria, how the hell.

I phoned the Sovenga office and spoke to a man called Elvis. He said that the local tracking number which was given via email was linked to another international parcel and not mine.

Please stay away from the local post office, and never make use of them ever. They are utterly useless,
