Montclair Post Office Cashier Stole Cash & Manager Vouchs For Her!!

Don't go to Montclair branch of Post Office.

Had something I had ordered online and there was a levy of R25 to pay to pick it up. I only had R50 (1 single note). I take it out of my pocket along with the receipt for the package.

The last takes the R50 note, and the receipt and put it next to her keyboard which I now can't see due to the high counter and window. She starts typing away goes behind to collect my delivery then tells me its R25.. I look at her thinking she's talking about my change.. Then she lifts up a R20 note and tells me its R25. Still not sure what the hell she's on about. I asked her what she means she tells me the package will cost R25. I tell her okay well i gave you R50. She denies it.

Being human and understanding faults happen I get confused cause honestly in that whole day that was the first time I saw a R20 note, I explain to her that it can't be, I only had R50 coming she denies it further more (brave con might I add ) I have to pay R6 because I only gave her R20 which I did.

I rush home to see if maybe that's where the R50 Was left and surprise surprise.. I had left with the only R50 I own. After realizing this, I call the post office and ask for the manager and ask If I could view the surveillance to see what happened to my money..

Wait for it...

THERE ARE NO CAMERAS NEAR THE CASHIERS!!!!! This just further proved to me why she would ***** such petty cash and probably get away with it!!!!!!!

I honestly don't care about the money, I know its a small amount but if she's doing this to a number of customers DAILY!! I bet its worth her boring job at the post office.

Further more the only thing the manager could say to me was "I can vouch for her. She wouldn't do that!" Well yeah I didn't exactly wake up and have some fetish of starting trouble in 2 cashier quiet post office. But it still happened.
