Missing Parcel and no accountability
This has got to be the worst business when it comes to service delivery. It has been 6 months since a package I had ordered arrived in South Africa from China. On March, 4th I followed up with International Mail Centre and was advised that the parcel was sent to East London, instead of Johannesburg in error and that I should send an email to have the parcel re-routed. After numerous calls and emails, the parcel cannot be located, even though East London Main parcel confirmed that the parcel had in fact been sent back to International Mail Centre on 5 March 2022. Martha Mahlase at International Mail has not bothered to follow up on this, but has instead told East London Main post office they have the parcel, even though the tracking shows it was sent back to them. On 28 April 2022 I sent an email to the complaints department and received a reply on 02 June 2022, from Patrick Nekhubvi who could not even take the time to type an email but instead had sent me a screenshot of the tracking for 05/03/2022, indicating that the parcel had been scanned out of East London Main Post Office. Last week I followed up with East London Branch Manager, Andrew de Wilzen, who advised that they were investigating the missing parcel, however I am yet to get a response or be compensated for my daughters missing birthday present
