Missing parcel

I went to the Southernwood Post Office in East London yesterday to fetch a parcel. The clerk searched for about 10 minutes and came back with nothing. She said she can't find it because the storeroom is a mess. I told her that there shouldn't be a mess in the first place. She then told me she will look for the parcel and I must come back the next day.
