Lost Flight Tickets

I posted birth certificates for my kids to PE through registered post ( RC 075 221 306 ZA) on 08 July 2015 at menlyn post office. The birth certificates were needed for the kids flight, which was scheduled for Friday, 17 July 2015. I kept following up with the post office and the kids ended up missing the flight, thus I forfeited the amount of R998.00 that I paid for the flight. <br> <br> The mail was scanned again on Saturday, 18 July 2015 at Pretoria Hub after I had gone back to Menlyn post office to enquire the exact location of the mail and demanded that I go to the hub to take back the mail as it is useless to send it to PE as the kids already missed the flight. I requested compensation for the total amount of R2447.00 constituting of R998.00 forfeited for the flight, the cost of R25.40 for sending the birth certificate back to Pretoria plus the amount of R1 274.00 now paid for the tickets.<br> <br> I received a response from Eugenia Kekana on 23 July 2015 that the parcel has arrived 23 days later, merely informing me that the post has arrived in PE, no empathy or apology for my loss. I responded to him on the same day to request compensation but to date I have not received a response.
