Local Tracking Number: EA***NL also Local Tracking Number: EA***NL - Damage & Customs Duty
I have it on good authority that OUR Post Office is serious about Customer Queries. Well, let’s put this to the test with a simple yet serious statement and enquiry from a rather unhappy and disappointed Customer on all levels.

I’d like to bring your attention to this delivery, with the attached pictures and the condition in which I took delivery from the Local Post Office on Friday 19 January. I find it absolutely deplorable that your Customer is expected to accept delivery in this condition. I have worked in the Logistics / Supply industry for 25 + years, and would never accept a delivery in this condition from any supplier. It will have been returned to sender immediately for cost recovery. However, having already waited some 7+weeks for the parcel and of course not having any faith that I will be in a position to get recovery I reluctantly signed for the package. As can be noted, it was so broken and flimsy that already some of the goods were located on the floor outside of the packaging. An entire consignment has had to be discarded due to damage and waste.
I’d appreciate input and action in this regard.

This parcel was shipped from the UK on 11 September 2017 already. The content which should NOT be liable for any Customs Duty. The unit price is under R1000, so I do not understand how it is that I was charged R294.14 VAT (+-31%) ? and R46.00 Clearance Fee = R340.14
I’d very much appreciate input and explanation in this regard.
