Lack of Respect

A few months ago, I received a registered mail notification slip from the SA Post Office that was 6 weeks old. The required action of the registered letter had already expired and I lost out on an opportunity.<br> Last night I received a registered mail notification which had been issued a few days early.<br> Given my earlier experience, I arrived at the branch at 8am, but noticed the opening time for Wednesday as 9am.<br> As an employee was entering the branch, I asked cordially whether it would be possible to claim the registered package, before opening time of 9am.<br> The employee duly ignored my presence for 10 minutes. I then called the area manager, who promised to get back to me.<br> The area manager called me stating that it was not the first time I had asked to open early and that this was the very last time any exception would be made. I stated that I had never asked previously to open early.<br> The employee then begrudgingly assisted and also stated the same message as the manager!<br> The lack of respect from both the manager and employee is despicable and unacceptable!<br>
