International Parcel Returned Due to NO SERVICE
Since 5 March 2015 I have been trying to track an international parcel, tracking no: CJ***U, because I started to get nervous that the parcel was not being delivered.

I tried the recommended SAPO customer support email address.
I tried to complete the Contact Us forms on the SAPO website.
I tried phoning the track and track support number various times and was always cut off after a few minutes of waiting.
No feedback or SERVICE at all!

I then resorted to complain on HelloPeter on Monday, 16 March, and got the required domestic tracking number, II***ZA, today, 17 March and was informed that the parcel is at my local post office.

I then went to visit the Lydenburg Post Office and was informed that the parcel was returned to the sender the previous day (Monday, 16 March) because I did not come to collect the parcel. I was never informed that the parcel was at the post office!

I payed more that R2000 to get the parcel in South Africa from the USA and now due to poor service I have to go through this ordeal again!
Your item was at the Lydenburg branch for the prescribed period of 30 days after which it was returned to the sender. Records shows that the branch issued a notification slip on 16/02/15 and they returned it on 16/03/15 as unclaimed.
WeI have forwarded an e-mail to the relevant department to establish whether the item is still in South Africa and well afford an update once we hear from them.
