I was working as an employee at the post office for more than 10 years. I left as an employee on 11 March 2015. Up to date ( 21st April 2015) i have not yet received my leave pay outs or overtime worked or back pay on increase for 2014. I worked 6 consecutive months ALONE at the Makhado Crossing Branch with no lunch or off weekends as per employment contract because Dan Shihundla said there was no on to relieve me. I still have not received non of these monies as well as pro-rata on my 13th cheque as per employment contract. According to labour law i was suppose to receive all monies owed to me within 7 days after last day worked. when i followed up with David Matamba he informed me that they do not working according to law. So please can someone lodge an investigation at the post office to investigate how they work with employee and labour matters as according to them they don't work according to law. The 25th of April will be the second pay run since I've left but still nothing received and a very bad attitude from David Matamba. I worked 6 months without an lunch hour from 7:30 to 17:00 consecutive monday to friday and saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00 every saturday. No Payment.
