Huge Thank You!!!

I want to give a big thank you to the Farrarmere branch as well as customs.

I won a giveaway & got sent my prize via USPS all the way from Canada. It landed in SA on 01/03/2020 and I was able to pick it up today (18/03/2020) from my local post office.

At one point it did seem like it was not moving upon which I sent an e-mail to customs & received a reply within 3 days. They stated that my package was at a Hub and that they had already notified my local post office to be on the lookout for it & contact me as soon as it arrives.

I was very patient, because I had done my research & I expected major delays while also fearing the worst - the possibility if it being lost or ******.

However, all the contents were accounted for and undamaged. I really cannot say if I was just lucky or if it had a lot to do with the way I treated all parties involved.

I think it is important not to be too hasty, because SAPO is dealing with massive volumes of mail & we need to respect the process & politely enquire, because at the end of the day we are all people & the person you are dealing with is not directly responsible for the handling of your item.
