FRUSTRATED with parcel sent via registered mail
On the 21st of January a very important document was mailed to me from the UK. However, to date it hasn't arrived in South Africa

We had to ask and pay for a re-issue of the document in the UK and the UK office sent it via registered mail
(RU***GB) to South Africa on the 1st of April.

I followed up on the document with the office in Colchester, England and they confirmed that the document left Heathrow airport on the 5th of April. Logically then the document arrived in SA on the 6th of April.

I have phoned and emailed the SA Post Office multiple times. The call centre is a joke. You hold on the line for 20 mins and then you hang up because clearly they don't want to talk to you. The last three emails I sent didn't even have replies.

According to the lady who eventually helped me, the document is not even on the system. She says it could be in SA, but the Post Office don't know where it is??!

Why pay more for registered mail, if the Post Office will loose it anyway.

Can someone please investigate the matter and tell me where this document is?? I can't afford a third document to be issued.
