EMS Package Still Not Registered After 24h

On 25 November I took a package to the Gezina branch of the Post Office, to be sent to the United Kingdom. The officer, advised us that EMS would be a good option. I completed the EMS form, but I was not given a copy of the form, and nothing was stuck into the package by the officer - he informed me that everything was fine, and that I could leave.

I took a photo of the EMS form and left.

Now, more than 24h later, the tracking code registers nothing on the EMS website.

Please could the Post Office explain how an EMS package should be sent, and is this normal that nothing comes up after 24h?
