Dissatisfaction with service delivery

I sent a parcel to the United Kingdom from the Yellow Wood park Post office on the 6th of December and i paid R1800 for the parcel to be delivered in 5 days. The Post office use a company called EMS to send their parcels which in my knowledge is also known as JIMC Customer service. I stand to be corrected.

Not only was the parcel only delivered two months later but the parcel arrived in the UK in a shocking torn and broken condition. There were items broken.

I have been emailing Goodness Ngobese and also a lady name Monica for almost two weeks now and she refuses to even contact me or reply which is totally unprofessional on her part.

I want my R1800 back as the service was not rendered. By law i should get an amount compensated to me and i will do anything in my power to get that back even if i have to go to Lawyers.

I paid a large amount of money for that parcel to be sent and it arrived late and torn and broken.

I also have photos of the box if needed and there was a letter attched to the box saying that the box had been torn like that from South Africa.

I want a refund. I want my R1800 back.

Hello dalene1962,

Your comment is noted and thank.

On behalf of the post office please accept our humble apologies for the level of service experienced.

In an instance where an item was damaged you will need to hand the package back to your post office and ask the post master to take you through the process of registering an enquiry .
The matter will then be referred to security and investigation and compensation will be paid out if the findings prove that the item was packaged accordingly.
Final investigation report will be communicated with your branch and the branch manager will contact you with an update.

Regards,
Customer Service
