I sent insured parcel on 12th Feb, tracking PA***ZA, and in usual SA POST OFFICE style the parcel went missing. I opened a claim in March. It has taken 5 month to finally get compensation for this insured parcel and the only reason I did is due to the endless emails I have had to send to the post office following up. After all this the post office did not even refund me for my initial postage cost. this is not acceptable, in terms of the CPA I have paid for a service that was not delivered by the SA Post Office as such I expect that my postage cost is also refunded. The SA Post office staff I have dealt have been useless to say the least, Muhammad Osman gave me the attitude that he is doing me a favour in doing his job and never bothered to reply to any queries nor answer his phone which just rings. With staff lacking customer relations skill no wonder the post office is loosing customers at a steady rate. I have already moved 70% of my business away from the SAPO and I will continue to do so. DO NOT RELY ON GETTING PARCEL DELIVERED AS SAPO LOOSE THEM THEN TRY THEIR UTMOST NOT PAY OUT INSURANCE CLAIMS AND POSTAGE COSTS FOR NON DELIVERY. I will lodge complaint with ICASA
