Disgusting Service given by the individual that served me at the time

Once again I have a gripe against a company named our Government Post Office . I just do not report bad service just for the fun of it. This is a serious matter. We as all South African people are paying high taxes to our Government to pay their employees a salary to give us the working public who pay Vat & income tax to pay this so called employees who work in all their Government departments. We hear continually of ***** and bad service from these employees across all the Government departments who are overpaid &overstaffed, nonsense. They are overstaffed &overpaid Well let me give you my story .In the beginning of the month I went to our local Post office in Paardekraal Monument in the Checkers centre to inquire about a parcel that was sent to me by my nephew from East Germany, as it was sent by airmail . I was provided with a tracking number by my nephew as we speak often via Whattsapp.

The package was sent on the 14th of July 2018 from Torgau in east Germany to my address in Silverfields Krugersdorp in Gauteng Province.

When I got to the post office the door was closed as it was a windy and cold day. I opened the door and to my surprise found no one in side.? I called loudly and suddenly behind a counter on my right side a black employee named Mr. Fanie Molokewla popped up and asked if he could assist me. My immediate opinion was he taking a nap but who am I to judge .I inquired from him after I gave him our parcel tracking number for him to investigate it on my behalf.

His reply was contact the Post office in Johannesburg ,he gave me the procedure which he wrote down on a piece of paper to write an email to his address given . This I did the same day and to this day I had received no replay. My email was sent on the 12th August 2018

On the 16th August I sent another sterner email which to this day was not answered either.? Yesterday afternoon I looked into my post-box at home .To my surprise a advise slip was received dated the 01/08/2018 from the same Post Office at Paardekraal . the parcel was lying there since then . This Mr. Fanie Molokelwa did not even go and look in his store room which he should of done in the first place, when I went from my home to his works place which is approximately five kilometres away . My gripe is why did he not look firstly before sending me home to write an email twice which no one answers . Wastes my time ,spend expensive petrol and he also must have been doing something strange on the ground as i was said he was nowhere in sight when I called for someone to assist me. My assumption was then he was sleeping. Which I cannot prove.

Now comes the shocking part. Today with the post office slip in hand I confronted this same guy and ask him why did he not tell me on the 12th of August 2018 if he had looked in his office storeroom the parcel has arrived ?

I left it at that as I had to send a return gift parcel to my nephew which was small as it was a leather wallet I had bought him as a thank you gesture for sending me this parcel with all nice sweets from Holland and cheese as well. I ask this Mr. Fanie Molokelwa if he could send it by air mail and he must please give me a tracking number. He proceeded to measure this small envelope which he provided and gave me a price of R252.00 Approximately. I questioned this, as this was exorbitant price for such a small envelope . He answer was this is the price period. Then I asked him if I send it by slow mail or boat what would it cost. His answer was R151.80 . I asked him for a tracking number which he stated he could not give me as this parcel sent via slow mail does not get, or they could not provide a tracking number ?. This is bull****. I looked in my wallet and saw I did not have so much money on me , then I asked him can I pay by debit card , his reply was no their card machine was off line.

I then advised him fine, I will go to a ATM machine around the corner and draw some money to pay him this fee, This I did but while walking there I thought about it and something did not make sense to me regarding this matter as six month prior to this event ,I sent my nephew an air mail parcel similar in size and it cost me if my memory serve me correctly pus minus R120.00 with a tracking number slip. When I returned to the post office ten minutes later another client was being helped by MR. Fanie Molokewa. I then went to the next counter where a lady was just sitting there doing nothing. She responded by saying sorry she cannot help, me as Mr. Fanie was busy with me he must finalize the matter ? I waited patiently until the lady client had finished with him . I then stated questioning him about the price as something just not jell with his explanation .

He then got ****y with me and I addressed him firmly with a response don’t get ****y with me I’m asking questions I’m entitled to ask his answer was he will show me on his computer screen how he got to his figures numbers . He umed And aahed he struggled to prove to me how he got to his figure . Still up to this moment he could not convince me why I was paying such a high figure ,then not even getting a tracking number. If my parcel gets mislaid on the boat? Which boat is my question, without a tracking number? how will I or my nephew be able to track this parcel if it gets mislaid,!!! Gentlemen or Lady, I request that this email gets sent to their Chief Executive Officer and put this email on your site so everyone can see once again, how *********** our Government employees are .

I request an answer from The Post Offices Chief Executive I want this matter investigated and explain why am I paying so much for such a small parcel or actually envelope . The service I received was shocking and his staff are ***********. They must be taught the client is the people that pay their salary is this not so.. He is not doing me a favor . His attitude stinks !!
