Disgusted and disappointed at poor service and unreliability!!!!

<p>About 2 weeks ago an insured package of mine was handed over to me at the post office in a tampered condition, one corner of my package was open to the extent that I could fit my hand into the box. Contents were missing from my box. I experienced similar encounter last year with south African post office when I collected an emptied box with nothing left inside, the parcel was not insured and I was therefore told there was nothing that could be done to help me... In the most recent event I was promised by post office officials who were present that they would everything possible to speed up the resolution....However for the passed 2 weeks approximately whenever I go and enquire about the progress in the matter there is no straight answer, they keep telling me there is a process and an investigation etc, quite frankly i feell feet are being dragged and im the only victim in this... I would like to know why when my package was insured have i still not been paid out the insured amount??? Frankly,the investigation n its outcome is none of my concern!!! I have done all that was required by me, filled in the applicable forms as well as an affidavit, this is unacceptable, the consumer suffera alone for the crimes committed by the very people entrusted with our belongings... I see no use for the post office if they deliver a service which is unsafe and unreliable!!!</p>
