delevery for my parcel was tuesday (8th oct 2015)

My parcel was send from sunnyside post office to bedworth park post office and was said, arrive date for the parcel was the 08th. I have been phoning bedworth past post office from the 8th until now and I'm told the parcel has not arrived . I'm in need of my parcel urgently so I really fail to understand what is the delay unless my parcel is lost. Because from pretoria to veeriniging doesn't take a week for a parcel to arrive especially when i was told arrival date. Can someone please intervene.
