Customs of 600% charged on textiles

Imported clothing and based on the official harmonized customs codes and tariffs should be 20% to 40% plus VAT. Cape Mail Customs have charged 600% in contravention to the regulated tariffs and in contravention to international treaties in place. I was told to return the items for reas*****t with a letter, which I did.They have all the requisite invoices and documents. Now the parcel is missing and neither Cape Mail nor SARS Customs have bothered to answer correspondence. I have raised a case with the Ministry of Commerce of the exporting country regarding tariff violations but they require official documentation as to the breakdown of the tariffs charged and clearly neither Cape Mail nor Customs will supply such a breakdown and neither will acknowledge any attempt to contact them. The customer service link on th SAPost Office website is not operational and is merely a picture.<br> If fact most links and buttons on their website do not work. Similarly their phones are inoperable and just ring. Anyone home?
