**** service from post office

I've been waiting for an overseas package to come in since last year December. I only received the receipt from the post office Monday the 04/06/18 . When I get to the post office in turffontuin I get told that the package had been returned to the originating country as it has been laying there since March. Yet the receipt is only stamped the 19/04/18. I have not received any notice from the post office prior to the one sent on Monday. I find it ridiculous that my package has been returned. I need my package.
