Closed with NO notice

Our Post Office in Bryanston, located at the Post House, is closed. I have telephoned head office in Pretoria, obviously there was no answer. I tried telephoning the number given on the website - no answer. I went online and did a search - apparently the post office has been locked by the landlord due to non payment of rent. After a complete run around, I ascertained that one could collect registered mail at Bryanston West post office. Now, how do we know if there is registered mail for us if we have not received the notification slip? Where is our post being kept? Is there security on site? Why cant we collect our own post? What about traffic fines etc? Is tampering with post a federal offence like in other countries? SA Post Office is surely in breach of contract - I've paid for a postal service I am not getting! When will the post office open and when will we get our post? AND< how did this happen? How does SA Post Offices NOT pay their rent??? They are providing a public service!
