chased away

I arrived at the post office at 12:55 doors already shut. It states that the post office closes at 13:00. I asked the lady inside if I could come in and she basically chased me out saying that they are already closed. I stated that it was not yet 13:00, but she wouldn't have it and said the doors are closed and that I must come back on Monday.
