Carelessness

With the recent outbreak of COVID-19 i would think we all have shifted our mindsets to - lets be safe follow WHO and DOH guidelines. I had an unfortunate experience at the Post Office (Rby) today. The teller assisting me was wearing latex gloves no sanitiser in sight - bear in mind that she is receiving cash from clients, documents and cellphones at times. So if i as patron have COVID and have transfered my respiratory droplets on either she will contaminated as well and few others after me. Upon enquiry with her why she had latex gloves no sanitizer her response was "coz i like too". I than spoke to their Team leader who wasnt prepared to here my concern and told me that the lady bought those gloves with her own money i must than phone head office and enquire with them where is the sanitizer.

Im afraid with such negligence - Post office Head Office filter down to regional branches we are going to see our infection rate soar unnecessarily. we cant afford to be nonchalant its not business as usual. Lets work and fight united.
