Can't find my international parcel although on SAPO System
I received an SMS on the 23rd October 2017 to collect my parcel from the Hillbrow post office, this is an Item I bought on the online shopping site “Wish”.
I have sent emails requesting that my parcel is sent to the Sandringham post office since Hillbrow is very far and I had put a Sandringham address for my parcels, with no joy even though my email is acknowledged as received. I then tried to get the parcel from the Hillbrow post office the post office had a power failure and they were not able to give out parcels.
The post office staff and parcels moved to Yeoville Post office, I went there and they couldn’t find my parcel. The staff there (Collin and Deli) looked through their manual documentation and they couldn’t find any evidence of the parcel. They then said they may have sent it to a Post Office closer to my address; that would have been Sandringham Post Office, I went there and they did not have the parcel.
All this time I kept looking at the SAPO tracking website (http://www.sapotracking.com/ ) and it always said the parcel was at the Hillbrow Post office.
I have called their Call Centre and it doesn’t get answered. I have also called the Airport phone number trying to get hold of Ellis and that number also doesn’t get answered.
Had I not received an SMS from the SA Post Office the story could be different, but I did.
After endless emails, SAPO has still not come back to me.
This service is frustrating after receiving all other parcels that were free, I wonder why I am not getting one I paid for.
