Can't find local tracking number of Parcel

I had a parcel sent from the US via USPS and was given the international tracking number LJ***US. The USPS tracking website says the parcel has left for SA on 30/01/15. I have tried going to the post office where it was too be delivered (sunninghill west) and called customer services and customs several times with no answer. I keep getting told to call numbers which nobody answers. It is almost two months and the parcel is either in customs or sent to a different post office. How can I locate the local tracking number???

We are unable to find records under the custom label provided. The number doesn't serve as a tracking label thus making it difficult for us to see if it has been received in the country. We conducted a search with your name and surname and could not find any recorded articles listed as well.
