Brits Post Office poor service

I went to Brits Post office for social grants on Thursday. Was told that the card has been blocked and I must go to SASSA, I went to SASSA and was told to go back to the post office. I got to the post office and it was closed. Went back on Friday and was taken from pillar to post. I then again went back without being assisted. Went back again on Monday and they promised to send documents for my card to be unblocked. I asked how long will it take, they said it can be up to 4 months. I want to know why does it take so long to unblock the card?In the process, how am I suppose to survive without my social grants?
