box opened and emptied by post office officials

Good day,<br> My wife was supposed to collect a package at Riebeeckstad post office yesterday, when she arrived thw lady asked her to sign for package and handed her the box, she could immediately tell that it was an empty box, opened it right the in the post office and it was empty, the tape had been tampered with too, she gave them back the box and left. According to the postal slip when the package was bookd to send to her the package weighed 4.1kg but when she collected it was empty. So quite obviously it was emptied at one of the post offices while in transit to her. It was booked in at Trade route post office Lenasia Johannesburg, then went through Witpos hub, then Welkom hub n then Riebeeckstad post office Free state. Between these 4 places somebody opened and emptied her package having the audacity to let her receive an empty box. The tracking number PE***ZA, sent via normal mail no insurance. I am utterly disgusted at the inefficiency of the post office which millions of South Africans trust with our valuable packages on a daily basis, and thwn to be told that I can not point fingers at anybody because the parcel was handled by more than one place. DISGUSTED....
