Bad service mayville post office
On the 12 of aug i went for my covid 19 grant. I stood in a row till 5. No help. On the 13 aug i went back was there at 7 standing in a massive que, about 2 blocks. By 3 i was still not helped. Post office have only 1 cashier to help everyone. The gentleman at the door take bribe money from the taxi drivers to get their people in first. Im epileptic, high blood pressure, cholestrol and had 3 strokes and sugar diabetes i have a letter stating that im a high risk but still when i started feeling bad from standing for 7 hours no one was willing to help. Eventually when i got in i saw that they only take one at a time. The people from shoahanguve is coming to mayville because the ques apparently are too long at shoshanguve. There was a lady with 2 very smsll children that came only to pick up a parcel snd she was told by the sane gentleman at the door to go outside snd stand on the que. I also noticed that when some people came out they hand him money. According to most people i spoke to in the que he charge only certain people, taxi owners customers, between R50 and R70 pp to jump the line. What should the elderly and people like me do who cannot afford to stand in those ques due to poor health. Even a 70 year old man was taken on because he was let into the post office by the same gentleman who work at the front door.
