bad service

On the 23rd of January 2017, I submitted a complaint/claim to SA post office (Overport, Durban) regarding items that were missing in the parcel that I sent by courier over Christmas to Lanseria Dainfern Ridge. I was informed that I & receiver of the parcel shall be contacted as an investigation will take place. Alas, 3 weeks elapsed without any contact from the Post Office & I then telephoned several times the relevant courier complaints department in Pretoria & the contact person (Juliet) assured me that an investigation is on its way . When I didn't hear from her until the 1st of March, I requested to speak to her supervisor - surprisingly I was advised to email the claim form again as Juliet had misplaced it! On the 15th of March I decided to email supervisor again as I still had not received any feedback. Surprisingly, Juliet emailed me with a note concluding that since my parcel was not insured (information that reflected on the form submitted in January!) , I shall therefore won't get any reimbur*****t - case closed! This clearly indicate that I was not considered seriously as a customer & that theft is condoned on parcels that are not insured! Is this how the Post Office courier services deal with complaints?
