Another State owned business which is a dismal performer

<p>The SA Post office is really going to the dogs. After their months long strike it appeared that they slowly but surely gor their act together, but over the past few months there is a distinct deterioration, especially with incoming international mail and parcels.</p> <p>They admitted that they have a backlog, but I have been waiting for parcels mailed to me on 8 October. What are you doing about the backlogs? Are there any plans in place to rectify this horid situation and serve your country the way you should?</p> <p> </p> <p>Another parcel was mailed to me from Singapore on 6 October. It has a tracking number and the tracking system shows that it was received by International mail centre on 12/11/16. But NO further movement, which means that it has been lying there for 2 weeks with no further action.</p> <p> </p> <p>In the past they at least answered email enquiries, but now it has become a waste of time - all emails are simply ignored. And of course, it is a waste of time trying to contact them - they have 6 landline numbers and these are NEVER answered.</p> <p> </p> <p>No wonder that Africa is what it is! There is an inherent culture of "who cares"</p>
