ABYSMAL SERVICE FROM SA POST OFFICE

My son posted me a parcel from Montana (USA). It took only four days to reach Johannesburg. The US Postal Service works very well. Since then, it has taken a further two months to be delivered (in a damaged state). Every time I tried to speak to someone about the matter (waiting time on the 'phone up to 14 minutes) I got a different story, all of which were nothing but lies. Absolute "couldn't care less" attitude. I will NEVER use SAPO again and would suggest that if anyone wants a package to be delivered safe and sound, use a courier - more expensive but at least you know that you'll receive the goods and on-time !
