6 weeks later - package still not delivered

My family sent a package from the USA and it arrived in South Africa on 04/08/2015. This package has been bouncing around between JHB international, Witspos, Alberton post office etc for customs re-assessment. Getting an answer from the call centre is next to impossible, as most phone calls result in many minutes on hold before being cut off. I am utterly disgusted with the number of days between each delivery point - 10 days to get from Witspos to Alberton?!?! Only to be sent back to JHB int.Really?????? My daughter's third birthday is in 3 days and her gift is contained within this package - I am at my wits end with the pathetic \service"from the SA post office -who have not even read the email I sent last week to complain. How long can it possibly take to move one simple package from JHB international to Alberton- this is beyond ridiculous!!! """
