TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS.

1). Electronic Pet Crate

The crate that your puppy was brought to be shipped in is a domestic crate, which is not suitable for long distance travel. Due to Atmospheric conditions, and the new pet regulations which states that no pet below the age of 16 weeks is to be transported in a domestic crate, we require an electronically Temperature Regulated Crate for your puppies to be shipped in since the puppies are still young. Without this crate, we are sorry, we will not handle the shipment of your puppy because should anything happen to the puppy, we will be held responsible. We have the crates here at our agency which can be rented out to our clients. We rent it for a rental fee of R 2500. A caution fee of R 10,000 is applicable which is FULLY refunded to you upon delivery of your puppy. So if you wish to rent the crate from us; you are required to pay R 12,500 of which R 10,000 will be refunded to you as the caution fee upon delivery and the cage taken back to the company. But if you wish to keep the crate, then you will have to purchase it for R 16,500. So make your decision and get back to us, so that everything can be settled and your puppy set for Delivery.

2). Food and Energizer vaccine. Our company provides quality Food and energizer vaccine to keep the puppy healthy and strong over journeys until at delivery point... Feeding and Energizer vaccine Cost= R 1000

Dear Client, We are currently handling the shipment of your Puppy and we have encounter a problem While trying to board in your puppy at the airport with the custom pet authorities. Your puppy does not have the Pet Insurance License needed by the state Pet authorities for their routine checkup, and they are demanding that we present to them an insurance licensee for your puppy before we can have the puppy board on the plane. The main document lacking is the pet insurance License. Find below documents required before we can proceed with delivery today. 1). Pets Insurance License. (Pending) 2). Change ownership documents (available)

3). Vaccination and health Certificates (available) 4). Parents Medical Records (Available.) 5). Registration certificates (available) As per the above documents required, we have four documents available and one lacking. The document lacking is the most important of all documents needed which is the pet insurance license. We are willing to offer you a short term pet insurance license that can cover your puppy. Since it is a short-term pet license to cover your puppy for less than a day(24 hours), The amount is payable upfront today and you will received the full amount paid back to you upon delivery of your puppy We will need you to pay in the said amount below so that the Animal Authorities can immediately issue your puppy the pet insurance license for your puppy to be cleared and ready for delivery .

The Pet Insurance License will cost R 25000. This amount will cover your puppy's insurance including Value added tax. The amount R 25000 is payable today, and will be refunded over to you should nothing happen to your puppy upon delivery as this goes a long way to cover all the cost that you have incurred on this puppy. The insurance license will be terminated once your puppy arrives at the airport and the documents will be cleared. Your puppy will be held and sent to a Pet Shelter if the Pet License is not paid. Dear Client, Accept greetings from the entire staff of SA Pet Express courier. We wish to inform you that the parents of your puppy where imported from the USA and yesterday when your puppy did arrive Johannesburg, the pet authorities in Johannesburg had to send the certified pedigree certificate of your puppy's parents to verify if your puppy is 100% purebred and the American Kennel club just confirmed that your puppy parents are Akc registered which means that your puppy is the original breed so they need a proof of Liability fund to get the puppy a Legal control permit and sign the puppy out if not the puppy will be sent to quarantine. We need an International proof of viability funds which has to be attached to your Refundable Insurance so that we can back up the Akc papers for the American Kennel Club to send a Legal Control permit for your puppy to be delivered to you safely without passing through any quarantine. The (CBP) has been entrusted with enforcing some 400 laws to Protect South African and the United States of America which is strictly checked by the South African Pet Authorities and the U.S. Animal and Wildlife Service. You have to back up the papers by making a deposit of an International proof of viability funds or the puppy will be sent to quarantine for 6 months. Please find the quarantine laws below

QUARANTINE INTRODUCTION

Animal Quarantine Services of the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) South Africa provide services for quarantine of live animals and birds for the purposes of import and export. The function and activity is governed by the following rules and regulations under which the DVS is empowered to impose the quarantine of animals and birds : • Animal Ordinance since 1973 • Animal Rules since 1995 • Animal importation Order since, 2000 • Federal Animals Quarantine Station (Management and Maintenance) By-Law from the year 2000 The rules and regulations are enforced by the requ irement for import & export licences and health certificates to regulate and facilitate the importation or exportation of live animals and birds into or from South Africa 1.0 PURPOSE OF QUARANTINE Quarantine plays a pivotal role in the control and prevention of entry and spread of exotic and zoonotic animal diseases into the country. At present, South Africa is not free from major exotic diseases such as foot & mouth disease (except for the Provinces in South Africa contagious bovine and caprine pleuropneumonia, bovine spongiform encephalopathy, rabies, ne encephalitis and this free status is largely due to the stringent quarantine policies of the country. Although all animals imported into this country have been certified as healthy and free from infectious and contagious diseases by the veterinary authority in the exporting country, at the time of export, quarantine measures are still necessary. This is to ensure that any animal or bird incubating a disease, is examined further during the period of quarantine before they could be release. The Animal Authorities wants to make sure that your puppy is 100% purebred and free from any kind of diseases. The proof of viability for your puppy will cost R 50,000 and if not paid today, then your puppy will be sent to quarantine. Also the money will be refunded back to you 3 days after delivery.
