Worst Paving Company ever
<p>The nightmare journey with SA Paving started in Nov 2014 when a rep came to see us for a small job of paving. With promises of good product and superior service, SA Paving presented their offering. They said they were more expensive than the market as they were a reputable honest company. Nearly two years later they have shown to be a dishonest company that should be avoided at all costs. Briefly we were promised a certain shade of paving however when the job was completed there were splashes of red all over the bricks. The CEO James Martin refused to take responsibility for the error and attempted to fix the job, but instead made it worse. Their attitude was pathetic to put in kindly. They have bul**** us into accepting the inferior work by enlisting the help of an arbitrator that supposedly was unbiased. He naturally ruled in their favour, and why he wouldn’t. He needs to get more business down the line. My advice to any potential paving customer, DO NOT USE SA Paving, as they have treated us the customer with contempt and like trash. James Martin, I will spread the word far and wide of your bullying tactics, the wheel turns and one day SA Paving will pay for treating customers in this appalling manner.</p>

The client concerned is the recipient of a condemnatory arbitration judgement which ruled that they must pay SA Paving the outstanding contract balance; in addition the client must pay SA Paving’s legal and arbitration costs. This award of full costs underscores the weight of the arbitration judgement against them.
Our belief is to stand by our reputation and the quality of our work. We do make mistakes, things do go wrong in the construction environment – but SA Paving will do whatever is necessary to make right. And beyond the project itself we offer an extensive warranty.
We will gladly make the full arbitration judgement available on request if our clients and potential clients wish to investigate the merits for themselves. Below is an extract of the order itself; SA Paving is the claimant; the defendant is the client responsible for the anonymous post.
40. I order the Defendant to:
40.1 Pay the claimant the balance of the reduced purchase price in the amount of R
40.2 Refund the Claimant 100% of the costs of referring the matter to the MBA-North in the amount of R
40.3 Pay the costs of the arbitrator and in this regard refund the Claimant all amounts they paid the Arbitrator.
We expect the client to withdraw, with apology, their comments being aware of the judgement against them and the consequences of libel.
