Absolutely appalling gym equipment, and cleaniness. You will eventually stop going because of the bad equipment. When you decide to join. The sales agent will tell you, you can cancel at anytime, just give one months notice. So, I decided to join with the possibility of moving. A year later, I tried to cancel and was told, you can't. As per the Consumer act, you may cancel but you have to pay 50% of contract value. So you end up paying for something you can't use. I changed my bank details and notified them. They did not change them on their side, and when they did, they charge me R60 for the debit order bouncing. When I wanted to make sure my 2 years were up - I was told no, you still have ANOTHER month to go because your Debit order bounced! Their gym and customer services is gross. Rather pay extra and go to a proper gym where you actually ALLOWED to use the swimming pool!!!
