Financial Drainage from Just Bridge
In August I had called to set up a new debit date as my pay date had changed.
I was assured my debit order would run fine on the requested date.On the 27 of the said month, Just Bridge debited my account, due to insufficient funds their collection attempt failed.
This resulted in ABSA charging me R150 rand's for the failed debit order.
I contacted the loan company again and tried to find out why the debit ran early and not the 31 or 2nd as requested. If memory serves me correctly I was told it was not done, so I was still running on the old mandate.
I was told by the assisting consultant that everything should run smoothly going forward. At the end of the month the same happened and was hit with another R150 charge by my bank.
I have called and or emailed them several times since the ordeal and to date the matter is not finalised.
On some occasions I have questioned about the fees I am charged for and have been confidently informed that the company is not responsible for that.
Some months I have been debited twice, on the 27 and again on the second (2nd) of the new month.
If it weren't for my credit record, I'd actually close my ABSA account. Speaking of this, I have just received yesterday a notification from my bank that I R170 admin charge for a failed debit attempt from Just Bridge.
