This morning I was called from a company so-called SA Motors in Johannesburg Randburg. I was offered to sell for them and to be paid a rebate of 25k to 35k per car sold.
After this call I did my research and they were only found on Facebook no website with a red Hyundai Tucson 20L selling for 69k 99000km on the clock claiming to be a bank repossessed car.
I then googled the street address and the only company that was registered with the same name was (SA Motors Sales) I called them asking about this car and the person I spoke to named (Calvin) apparently there was no such person or car selling at that price.
The number is *** Calvin's number is *** With the same address as the actual dealership (SA Motor Sales).
They claim to be working with ABSA bank handling the repo cars department. But now this is where it gets interesting, they want you to deposit your money into a capitec bank account, not an Absa business account.
I ask why and he says it's so that if the client is not happy they can transfer the money back faster. Lol.
Please guys be careful and do your research before you transfer any money to any so-called company. I have been in the automotive industry for 15 years plus but I learn every day.
